Can I make a reservations directly with the hotel?
You can make a reservation directly with the hotel or with a Tour Operator or Travel agency.


Are the prices per apartment or per person?
The prices of the accomodation are per apartment and per day, irrespective of the number of people. The prices on supplements (Breakfast and Half board) are per person.and per day.


How can I reserve directly with the hotel?
You can contact us to check the availability of apartments for the date you require, either by telephone, fax , e-mail or post. We will reply in the same way confirming whether or not there are apartments available.









How to confirm a reservation?
At the moment we confirm your reservation we request a deposit of at least the price of one days accomodation. This deposit can be paid by cheque, bank transfer or an easier way sending your credit card details (The number and expire date).


Can I cancel my reservation?
Of course you can cancel your reservation. If you do so 72 hours before your expected arrival date your deposit will be returned.


How to pay?
We request that you pay the total amount of your stay upon arrival. Your deposit will be discounted from this.


How can I book meals to be included?
You can make your reservation with half board included (Breakfast and dinner) or with breakfast. Even if you havn´t previously booked meal service, you can still use the restaurants paying only when you eat, or you can purchase half board at reception per a minimum of 3 days.


Can I reserve flights through you?

No, this must be done through Travel agencies, or directly with the airline or through Internet.


Can I reserve a specific apartment Number?
You can request a particular number and we´ll do our best to reserve it for you. If this is not posible we´ll do the utmost to assign you one in the area of your preference.


How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
You can book a taxi, mini bus or coach through us which will meet you at the airport. For this we´ll need your date of arrival, time of arrival at Las Palmas airport, flight number and airport of origin.The cost of which can be paid in reception on arrival. We can offer you the same service for your return journey. There is also a public bus service to the resort which is not a direct service to the hotel and less confortable. Of course you can take a taxi from the airport.


What time can I have the apartment on day of arrival and what time must I vacate on departure?
Entry to apartments is after 13,00 H, when the apartment you will occupy has been cleaned and prepared for your arrival. On your day of departure, apartments must be vacated by 12 noon. If your flight is late in the afternoon/evening/night ask the reception for the possibility of staying in your apartment for extra hours, by paying a small supplement you may be able to stay on in your apartment. If it isn´t possible to extend your apartment we have a “Late departures” area where you can leave your suitcases, safes for valuables a waiting room, toilets & showers.


Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Yes , small dogs are allowed up to 5 kilos (approx. 10 LBS). Provided this has been requested in advance. The pet must remain at all time in your apartment, not in the general hotel areas, swimming pool, sports area or restaurant.


What mode of dress is expected in the restaurant?
We expect respectable dress, specially for dinner gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers from october to may. From may to september formal shorter trausers are permitted.


I am vegetarian… What options have I?
All our dinner menus have vegetarian specialities. At breakfast there are also dietetic foods.


I have contracted half board but due to my arrival time or departure or because I will be on an excursion I will miss out on some meals…. What can I do?
If you know you will arrive after 21,00 Hrs. please let us know and we will leave a cold meal for you. If you are going on an excursion trip during your stay, let us know the previous evening before 20,00 Hrs. and we will make you a Pic-nic packed meal.

Beside Breakfast and dinner what other food options are available?
We have an excellent snack service in our pool bar from 12,00 noon until 15,00 H. The captain Haddock pub offers late breakfast from 9,00 to 12,00 noon and an a la carte menu from 18,00 until 21,00 H. We also offer a “take away” service to apartments from 12 noon until 15,00 H. and from 18,00 until 21,00 Hrs.


How do I pay my extras bill in the hotel?

So as you don´t have to keep paying in cash, we have our own credit card, please request one at reception, free of charge, limited for use in our bars and restaurants. You can pay your extras bill at reception in cash or credit card on your departure.


When was the hotel built?
The hotel was inaugurated in december 1985. Since then, we have a continuous programme of reforms and each year our apartments and general areas are improved.


What are the environmental policies at your establishment?
We take the environment seriously. We don´t use chlorine or other chemical products in the maintenance and cleaning of our swimming pools. We produce energy with the use of solar plaques. We divide our residual collection for posterior re-cycling. In all apartments we have mechanisms for saving water& electricity .


I am travelling with a baby…What equipment is available at the aparthotel?
If you indicate this on your booking, you will have a cot free of charge. Other items like high chairs, push chairs, changing mats, etc, can be hired out at reception.


Have you apartments for incapacitated people?
The hotel has two types of apartments for incapacitated people, one one bedroom and one two bedroom. These apartments are beside reception.


If I book direct , does the hotel provide a medical service when if needed?
The hotel always recommends that you take out a holiday insurance before travelling. Almost all the clinics in Puerto Rico accept holiday insurance from most companies. Should you need medical assistance, at reception they will be very happy to put you in contact with the clinic of your choice.


Can we book excursions through the hotel?

The personnel at reception will be happy to advise you, and book your excursions on the island or to another island, or elswhere.


How far away is the beach?

“Puerto Rico” beach is 1500 meters away and “Amadores” beach is 2000 meters.


What transport is available to get to the beach?
Outside the hotel is a public bus stop to both beaches There is a taxi rank 300 meters from the hotel.


Can I rent a safe in the hotel?

All apartments are equipped with electronic safes which can be rented out at reception.
